SIFE Niner Networking & Etiquette Dinner |
|
Project Origins: One of UNCC SIFE’s first projects, the Niner Networking and Etiquette Dinner was inspired by a former SIFE event called "Career Day".
Project Objective: The current job outlook shows an unstable work force in this country. Many students graduate and are not able to get jobs right out of college. By educating and providing these college students with the necessary tools to have a competitive advantage in the job market, we are directly influencing their futures in a positive way. Currently, this event is a lively and upbeat speed networking reception, followed by a well-received etiquette dinner. It provides a unique opportunity for business executives to make direct contact with individual students. At the same time, the event provides students with valuable information about careers and potential contacts for future employment. In the future, this project will involve more networking time. It could also include an international perspective to reflect the ever-growing popularity of international business.
